distributive property

This is my distributive property of multiplication.  I have learnt to split the numbers into simple parts so I can solve the problem quicker.

8 x 9    as 8 x 5 = 40    8 x 4 = 32  

40 + 32 = 72

this is my 4 times table circles and what you do with them  is you get the middle number and get the second number for example first number is 4 and the second is 3 4x3 is 12.
